TOP 5
Here is a list of our 5 favourite books read in 2014!

Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J. Maas
I absolutely loved reading this book! Celaena Sardothien (the main character) gets more fierce and powerful with each chapter! Sarah J. Maas has once again outdone herself! For those of you that don't know, Heir of Fire is part of my favourite fantasy series by far, Throne of Glass. Throne of Glass was good, Crown of Midnight was better, but Heir of Fire topped it all! Be prepared for late-nights spent reading this amazing book, I sure had quite a few!
Ashley
The Demon King (Seven Realms #1) by Cinda Williams Chima
This book is the start of the Seven Realms series which I absolutely love! The Demon King is the first book and it isn't my favourite of the series, but it's what started the journey. High fantasy is always so much fun!
Justina
Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
This book was great because it about a girl who is amazing as the quarterback of her high school's boys team. Who doesn't like a girl who can kick butt on a boy's team!!
02
Winnie
Champion (Legend #3) by Marie Lu
I ABSOLUTELY loved Lu's Legend triology! A dystopian society featuring a budding relationship between the two main characters -Daniel "Day" Altan Wing and June Iparis- who were not suppossed to cross paths until a sudden incident. So beautifully written, its definately a MUST-READ!
Ashley
Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick
This book was just delightful. It's told from alternating POVs, but the thing that makes it unique is that one of the POVs is completely told in pictures. Awesome right?

On the Fence by Kasie West
Kasie West in my opinion writes the best romance books. There's something about her writing that makes you stay up reading when you really should be working on your english essay :S This book in particular is about finding love when you lease expect it. The main character, Charlotte is a tom-boy living with her single dad and 3 older brothers and long time neighbour Braden that is bascially her 4th brother. And well you may know where this is going so I'm just gonna stop!

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days #1) by Susan Ee
At first I didn't think I would've ever liked a book with angels in it, but that was absolutely a WRONG assumption! Angelfall is one of the best post-apocalyptic books I've ever read! Don't forget the little twist of romance, because we all need that little bit to make our heart melt! Penryn and Raffe? ABSOLUTELY YES!!
Ashley
A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall
This book is also very unique. It's a love story told in 14 different POVs! 14! The only catch is, none of the POVs are from the main characters. We don't get to see out of the eyes of the two lovebirds, but from everyone around them. It's weird, but the good kind of weird.

The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
Like I said before, Kasie West is amazing! This book was a hair away from being second, but I had to make a choce. This book is about an upper class boy and a lower class girl and how they look pass their differences and find love!

Winnie
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
This is was a really popular book this year and I can certainly see why that is! I had such an emotion ride reading it! The relationship between Hazel and Augustus is certainly heart-melting! This book teaches us to appreciate the things we already have and to live our lives everyday like if it were our last.

The Staff of Serapis (Percy Jackson & Kane Chronicles Crossover #2) by Rick Riordan
I'm a HUGE PJO fan so this one is a no-brainer. Yes, yes, this is technically only a novella, but come on! A Percy Jackson and Kane Chronicles crossover? It has to be on my favourites. (I'm ashamed to say I have not yet read BoO so that's why it isn't on here.)
Justina
Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson
This book was a big book...and I wished it was a bit longer! Since you've been gone is about a girl, Emily who is only popular and well known through her best friend. But one day, her best friend disapears without a word and Emily is only left with a list of things that include kissing a stranger and apple picking at night. Emily believes that the list would lead her to her best friend, Sloane. What do you think?

Where She Went (If I Stay #2) by Gayle Forman
I loved reading If I Stay, it was such an emotional book and I went through a phase of loving emotional books so If I Stay was certainly one of the best in my opinion! Where She Went definately answered alot of questions I had after reading If I Stay , and I liked that. As for the plot, I thought it was good, but it didn't match up to If I Stay . However, this is still a good read for those who like romance and anything If I Stay!
Ashley
World After (Penryn & the End of Days #2) by Susan Ee
This is the second book in Susan Ee's Penryn & the End of Days series. Angelfall, the first book, was absolutely amazing. World After is less so in my opinion, but I'm guessing it just has "Second Book Syndrome". If you want to know what this series is about, think of every angel book you've ever read (or just every paranormal romance) and up the awesomeness factor by 100. That's Angelfall.
Justina
Sleepaway Girls by Jen Calonita
The sleepaway girls is a book about a camp counselor who is makes a small group of friends at Pine camp that cares for each other, play pranks, talks crushes and ultimately wants to take down the most popular girl at camp, Ashley!
